Hey, It's me Daira and I'm gonna tell you about my volunteer experience.

In January I decide to undertake a trip in order to know but in addition to helping the planet being a voluntere; I sought for a long time and finally I found a place to go...

Quintana Roo, we`re staying in the volunteer camps, the weather is warm subhumid.

The volunteering is called "Turtle Camps" and the main objective of wich is to contribute to the conservation and recovery of the populations of the species of sea turtles that arrive on the coasts.

During the days I've spent here it has been an increible experience, I have turned beaches at night, I have moved nests to safe places, registered females, camped and cleaned protection pens.

In a few days we are going to release babies turtles, I will be in some other enviromental education activities and finally I will rest in another camp.
